Bergman.  Or as I read it: Berg Man.  ; )  When Jason wrote to me about commissioning an unaccompanied piece for trumpet, something a few minutes long that had some variety I thought: what better vehicle than a mini super-hero soundtrack!?!  With heroic flair, percussive drive, soaring melodic lines and several options to modify the length and difficulty of the piece, The Adventures Of... invites the performer to be the hero of this particular adventure!
