Jason Bergman commissioned this setting to include on his new album of spiritual music for trumpet and piano, Be Still My Soul.  The tone of this arrangement ranges from reverent to celebratory.  It is dedicated to my late grandmother, Grace, a no-nonsense New Jersey Catholic and a wonderful grandma.

 

This arrangement was originally conceived for trumpet but I thought it could work well for trombone as well.
